Cleveland State Rowing Alumni group

Welcome to start of the Cleveland State Rowing Alumni group. We believe in furthering the rowing program at CSU.

Mission

The mission of this group is to provide a support structure for the CSU rowing team, spur growth of the CSU Alumni community and encourage graduating rowers and Alumni to stay involved with rowing in Cleveland and their Alma Mater.

M2 Eight Fundraising Campaign

The Alumni Group is starting a campaign to fundraise for 2002 Vespoli M2 Eight for benefit of Viking Crew. Our original boat, the “Dan DiAngelo” (formerly “Charlie”) is approaching its 28th birthday, and the team has agreed its time we retire it. We are in talks with a school in boston for purchasing a newer boat. The team’s financial situation isn’t any better than you remember it, but the rowers are pumped, and working to fundraise. I ask that you all, with your fancy jobs, to take a moment to think of what rowing has given you, and consider hiring the team for "Rent-a-Rower" services, and/or make a donation. In return for donations, you will receive:

$250 – Name on an oar

$1000 – Name on a seat

$7000 – Name the boat (If you all can pull your money together for $7K, you can name the boat whatever the heck you want).

As you can see, there are already two pledges for $1000, so we’re already getting started! Feel free to call, or ask any questions. If you need some work done around the house, or have any other odd-jobs, email csurowing@gmail.com for rent-a-rower! Thanks for your consideration!
