About Cleveland State Rowing:

  • Eights
    • Dan DiAngelo - 1984 Challenger Vespoli 8+ Named after the founder of the team. Bought by Alumni.
    • Dimo (RUS) - 1995 Kaschper 8+ Named after the former rower and coach Dimo Martynyuk
  • Fours
    • Denny Matheou - Vespoli DM 4+ 2007.  Is the newest boat in our Armada purchased in 2007 by the school.  
    • The Steamer - Vespoli 4+ 1992 Bought by Alumni.
• We've raced in the International Regatta Head of the Charles in 2006
• We've raced at the National Dad Vails REgatta in 2007 and 2009
• Viking Crew is a Cleveland State University's Club Sports Team.  We are not a varsity team, therefore we are not controlled by CSU's Athletic Department, but are under the CSU Recreation Center's competitive club sports.  We do no offer any scholarships at this time due to low funding.
