Cleveland Collegiate Barge Club
Cleveland's Summer College Rowing League
Planning on sticking around Northeast Ohio this summer? Well why not keep in shape, meet some new friends, and start preparing for the fall season! We cordially invite you to join us this summer on the Cuyahoga River for sixth season of Cleveland Collegiate Rowing (CCR). Last season was a great success with about 14 men and women. We have plans to race at the Chicago Sprints.
CCR is a summer rowing program based out of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation (CRF). It is designed exclusively for collegiate rowers and is coached this year by Kacy Carmichael, former University of Datyon Varsity rower and experienced collegiate coach of John Carrol. You do not have to be enrolled in one of our four collegiate programs! Email her at carmichaelkl@gmail.com if your interested in joining!
Tentative Practice schedule is Tuesday 7:30pm, Thursday 7:30pm, and Sunday 4pm. Other practices can be scheduled by demand. Athletes are encouraged to attend all dates but will not be penalized if they cannot. No discount will be made. ** Opportunities for independent boats will be discussed for more water time.
The tentative starting date is Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
Coaching will be rotated by John Carrol U. coaches.
We are planning on racing at Chicago Sprints July 8-10th

Q:Is there an age limit?
A:No
Q:Are we still accepting new members?
A:Yes! Have them contact me if interested. carmichaelkl@gmail.com
An entire summer worth of rowing is available at $175 ($75 for rowers who paid for rowing both fall and spring semesters) per rower, which includes coaching fees, equipment use, and erg room use. We can be flexible with cost and payment schedule if reasons warrant. Just Ask.
Each participant must register with the Cleveland Rowing
